REGATTA OF GREEN BOATS
We have arranged special free berthing (and half price launching) for anyone bringing their private "green" boat to this event. Subject to their owners' consent we will arrange two display sailings 'around the bay' of these boats each day. We also hope that owners will allow interested members of the public to look over their craft.
Also joining the Fleet will be display boats brought by various commercial exhibitors
Finally we are hoping for at least three very special 'green' boats - of which more anon.
COMMERCIAL DISPLAYS
There will be commercial exhibitions - both inside our large exhibitors marquee, and outside on our hardstanding area. There will be a wide range of environmentally friendly products.
EVENTS
We hare planning a number of events throughout the weekend, including 'open discussions' on green boat issues.
LAKE CRUISES
Both Coniston Launch and SY Gondola will be running their scheduled sailings and Coniston Boating Centre hiring their electric self-drives throughout the days, but please watch this space for announcements about extra 'connoisseur' sailings outside normal sailing times.
REFRESHMENTS
The Bluebird Cafe will be open throughout the three days providing meals, snacks, ice-cream, etc.
On the Saturday and Sunday evening there will be a Barbecue on the Beach from 5:30 pm to 8 pm - and the Saturday evening we will be providing some (slightly long in the tooth!) musical entertainment.
